A little about our journey so far

Managed Funnels is a pay monthly sales funnel provider for sole traders and small businesses. We make professional, affordable sales funnel that give our customers a strong online presence, helping them reach more customers and grow their business.

Where we started

After toying with the idea of starting a web design agency for several years, we finally decided to take the leap in late 2018 (‘we’ being David Maillard and Louise Howells). Following several months of market research and conversations with business owners, we recognised that many sole traders and small businesses struggled to get a professional website that didn’t break the bank. We also found that this typically ended in three ways, either a poor quality website, an expensive website, or no website at all.

Narrowing our focus

Following on from our research, we made the decision to concentrate our efforts on sole traders and small businesses, which allowed us to focus our products and services around their needs. Ultimately, this translated into three pay monthly website plans, which offer customers complete flexibility and value for money, as well as allowing them to cancel at anytime.

To provide the best value for our customers, we’ve positioned ourselves to be as affordable and flexible as a “Do It Yourself” website service, but whilst still providing the quality and expertise of a premium web design agency. We feel this combination is ideal for sole traders and small businesses who don’t have loads of time or budget to spend, but still need a professional website.

David comes from a design and web development background and has over 15 years of industry experience. In this time he’s worked with everyone from the local bike shop to major UK organisations, such as London School of Economics, National Health Service, and The Royal Institute of British Architects.

Using a combination of creative, technical and commercial expertise, Alex is able to offer a comprehensive approach that ensures every aspect of a website is performing at its best.

Louise Howells

Louise has been working with websites for over 17 years and comes from a user experience design (UX) and delivery management background. She helps customers to create easy to use websites and also ensures a smooth delivery.

Previously Louise has led several web development teams, working with both small and large customers such as The European University Institute, Northumbrian Water, and BAFTA.
